Model Mayhem and the like...

Care to recommend a good photographer/model website to me? I've been members of most of them out there and am in pursuit of the "perfect" one. Belows is a partial (meaning all that I can remember off the top of my head) list of sites I know about and maybe a comment or two about each one:

• Model Mayhem
• One Model Place
• Model Brigade
• Craigslist

Of the list I feel that Model Mayhem is the best run and easiest to use. However, it's incredibly SLOW and the server goes down quite frequently. There's been a notice on the homepage stating "We are working on some server issues. Please bear with us!" (or something similar) for as long as I can remember -- at least 2 years. It's really a shame because despite it's MySpace-ish setup it's a pretty decent site.

One Model Place (OMP): This site sucks. It's probably my least favorite modeling site ever. I can't say enough bad things about it. Really.

Model Brigade: Essentially OMP run by someone else. This one has a couple of things that differentiate it however: it's currently free (a plus) and there's nobody on it (a minus). I don't have high hopes for this site.

Craigslist: Oh brother, where do I begin? In all fairness, I have had fairly good luck through CL. I've shot a number of both models and clients met through CL. However, I've also been stood up by flakes through the site. It's not the site's fault, of course, but as far as reliability is concerned I use it as a last resort.

Casting Call: Bondage

It doesn't happen often but occasionally I get commissioned for work by someone other than the model / client. This is one such time.

I'm looking for a female model interested in nude modeling in a (light) bondage scenario. The client will be selecting the model themselves from a small pool of models I present to them. You do NOT have to be a "bondage model" to be perfect for this gig. The requirements for the model are:

• No tattoos or large scars
• Minimal to no body hair
• "Excellent" body -- fit and lean
• 20's - 30's preferred
  

There will be rope and handcuffs involved but this is to be a PAIN FREE shoot. No humiliation, degradation, pain or distress (simulated or real).

Photos from the shoot will be licensed to the client without the rights for resale or public display -- they cannot be published in print or distributed over the Internet.

Photo Studio V3.0

Last February I announced that I was moving into a new studio located in the "Boxlift Building" on the corner of NE Hancock & MLK Jr. Blvd. Well, once I again I am happy to announce my upcoming move into a new studio.

James, Ken and I have been hard at work since Friday preparing the new space located in the "Broadway Studios" at:

We are nearly done with painting and are going to be steadily breaking down the old studio and moving equipment the whopping 4 blocks into the new space this week.
